When compared to existing developer projects, the Nová Chýně project is an interesting urban achievement. This project is located in the immediate vicinity of the existing Chýně municipality on the west border of Prague, less than 14 km from the centre of the city.
Civic amenities currently include a kindergarten, elementary school, children’s playground, municipal authority, doctor’s office, shops and restaurants in the Chýně municipality.
Development of a new school and a kindergarten with sufficient capacity to handle the growing number of inhabitants has already been approved in connection with the Nová Chýně project. The municipality has developed a full-scale utility network including a new waste water treatment plant.
The Litovický stream passes through the Chýně municipality and there are two small ponds: the Bašta pond with a natural sandy beach to be used for swimming and the Strahovský pond which is nice to fish in. Cycling enthusiasts will not be disappointed either as a new cycling path has been developed nearby.
The Chýně area is clearly an ideal place for endless walks and all kinds of sporting pursuits.
Shopping enthusiasts will certainly appreciate the proximity of the Zličín shopping park which takes a 7-minute car drive and features IKEA, Globus and Tesco hypermarkets.
For your convenience, there are two bus lines and two train stops that make transport to downtown Prague very easy.
